Why do girls never start a convo with me on fb?

They never start a convo with me but in real life they do!
I'm a guy of few words so most times they have to start the convo
most girls consider me cute and most of them also show some interest signs like they touch me when talking,eye play etc. but they hardly ever start a convo with me on fb,sometimes they do but yeah like once a month.

Oh, I don't know your age, but I'm fourteen, and the group of people around me are fourteen-seventeen, and I think most of us would answer the same! We are shy too! Really, I hate to start convos, especially on facebook, with guys. It is way easier in real life, because on the internet I feel clingy, and I dont wan't him to think: 'why is she writing to me, the fuck?', and be really rude, because some guys are like that, and then they talk about it with their friends, and you seem desperate and omg, it is all based around overthinking
It is really sad, but it doesn't matter if I talked to a boy or not before, I'm afraid they'll think I'm weird or something.

They may feel like they don't need to because they have good conversations with you in person. I very rarely talk to anyone over FB messaging.
