Why does my lady friend get mad when I add a woman to FB?

I once had over 100 friends on FB friends list, both (men and women) However, I recently deleted them all because my lady friend get's so upset and jealous when she see's another woman added as friend. She, however has over 150 friends both men and women, and she cont's to add's guys.

when I ask who they are she says co-workers and guys she already knows. In all honesty, the women on my friends list were mostly strangers that sent me friends request. Plus I added them before I met my g/f.

Now I only have 17 people in my friends list and most of them are her friends. Today I added two women, both sent me 'friends request', and already she is inquiring about them .. I am getting sick and tired of her being so petty. Are most women this way about FB and guys adding friends?

i dont think people are jealous just because. she must have a reason for being like that. instead of asking us..why dont you sit down with her and ask her. reassure her that she has no reason to be jealous or hurt.
and if you did give her a reason then first try to fix the trust issue you have before doing anything else.

Wait, so is this a girl - friend or your girlfriend? Either way, it's ridiculous. I mean, yeah I get jealous when I see that a guy I have feelings for has a bunch of girls on his friends list. But who doesn't? The difference though is the ones who say something and those who don't. I personally wouldn't, but obviously this "lady friend" of yours is being very territorial. She might as well pee all over you and bark whenever someone looks at you. I'm just saying, if she can have male friends on her FB, then you are equally entitled to the same. I think that you should calmly lay it down that she has no reason to be worried, and then maybe ask her if she has some trust issues or something. Good luck.

i am a jealous woman with my man but i mean he has all his guys friends on there and females on there are mostly friends in common of him and i and his family. either way hes got over 200 people easy but honestly i have too many as well and i see no point to it if you only talk to like 2 in real life so im deleting my facebook. but either way, she cannot tell you not to add women if she adds men. i mean my boyfriend has been restrained about adding women, but whenever there is a male requesting me, i let him handle it and he knows my password and i know his so we really got nothing to hide and its fair though.

basically if she wants you to not add girls, then she shouldnt add males.
