Changing one Facebook picture to another but keep the likes?

How can I change my Facebook profile picture back to a previous one and keep the likes?
I uploaded picture a today with 10 likes. I want to change back to picture b with 50 likes. Every time I try to upload a new photo from the album profile pictures and clik on picture b, it tells me to crop it, and then once it's uploaded a separate picture b with no likes is created. How can I get picture b with the likes as my picture? On iPhone

the only way to keep the likes and comments is to find that picture already in your profile pictures album, and select for it to again be your profile picture.

you cant upload it again and keep the likes and comments, because it's technically a new picture, even tho it looks the same

If you Used the Profile Picture Before you Can By Going to the Profile Pictures Photo Album Go to the Photo Than On the Bottom Under Options Click on Set as Profile Picture

if you Have Not Used it as a Profile Picture Before Than its Not Possible

By going to the profile picture album select it to use as the profile picture again.then the likes will be same.
