PS3 Internet Connection?

Ok im going to get a PS3 very soon, but I dont understand the whole Internet Connection thing. By the way I have a wireless router.

Whats the use of the Ethernet cable? Please inform on this stuff guys. What do you need in order to have Internet Connection? Thanks!

Ok, since you have a wireless router like me, you don't have to worry about an ethernet cable. Once you get your PS3, just go to network settings and create a new connection. It will scan and find your internet router and you will be able to use it for your internet

well...

since you already have a wireless router the PS3 already has a built in wifi. all you would have to do if go to the network setting of the PS3 and select wireless internet connection. That's it!

however using an ethernet cable is just using wired internet. It's the same it just that you use the ethernet cable that comes with the Ps3 attach that to the back of the PS3 and to the router. But you would not need to use this as you have wireless internet already.

Also the PS3 online gameplay is absolutely FREE..

u need a router and intelligence. quite sure u have both, just follow the instructions and you're ready to go. instructions are in the manual given with the ps3.
