how to know who's online on facebook?

ok so i used to have the tab that said online friends but now i dont have one so i cant tell if someone is online. does anyone know where it went?

This has never happened to me and frankly I don't know why it happened to you. The best thing to do it to reboot (restart) your computer and check it again. It might just e a glitch. If that doesn't work, either contact Mark Zuckerman (the inventor of Facebook.com) or the contact line and ask them. I hope this helps. =)

Facebook does not offer to show who is online. The chat box on the corner is very limited and can be changed based on people's preferences.

Applications claim to show that but its performance is not guaranteed since they are not developed by Facebook.
