The 'InitialChatFriendsList' on facebook?

So, what exactly does this list mean? Some people say it's in order from the people that you talk to the most, or that its the same as your chat list, but mine is not. I will refresh, turn off chat, turn off internet etc, but the friends list is always different than the chat list. There are people on there that don't show up on my chat list at all, people I talk to once in a blue moon, and people that have never interacted with me. What exactly is this list?

people tried to start rumors that it was people who were viewing your profile - it's not

it's just your chat list re-ordered randomly

the way websites like facebook work is they load a list of people from your chatlist, then send that list to the server to reorder by the things you have in common - it has nothing to do with who is viewing your profile, so dont believe the hype
