internet connection help?
my home desktop computer is where i have my router and modem, my own personal desktop gets its internet connection from an ethernet cable thats connected to my router from the next room. i have another ethernet cable that i want to use to get an xbox live connection by connecting it from my xbox to my personal desktop. what do i need to enable on my personal desktop computer to allow the xbox to recieve an internet connection from it?
i can unplug the cable that runs from my router by my home computer directly into the xbox and the connection is fine. but what i want is to get an internet connection on both my personal comp and the xbox. the xbox can only connect to the internet with a wired connection; not wireless. Ads |

Check if you desk top has proper IP address? basically all devices you connect should have accessible serial ip to enable tcp/ip communication
