why does Craigslist have ads that cover the post texts?

I can't see most of the text on Craigslist ads because there is a gray screen over the text area. (Down in the corner it says, ads not of this site) If you can't read the posts what good is Craigslist?
I tried deleting ad-ons but it didn't help still a gray screen over the text area of the posts.
I'm using Google Chrome. I switched to Firefox and it's not just gray screen but ads.

I had the same problem until 5 minutes ago. I fixed that issue now in Firefox. The problems is with the extension installed in Firefox. If you are using Firefox, go to Tools>Add ons> Extensions. Find out the unnecessary extensions listed in that. Mine was some thing called "Coupon Companion" some thing like that. Pretty sure, this problem is caused by some unwanted extension being installed, that is how I fixed mine. All the best
