Can I sell things through a facebook page - is it free?

I'd like to sell my self published book through a facebook page - is this possible?

How would it work and is it free?

Thanks Michael! How would I sell the product - I mean have a purchase button and way of people paying for the product via Facebook using a debit/credit card? Would I need to incorporate an ecommerce part of the site - or is this possible already?

You can create a FaceBook Page for free. You can create one here:-

All you need to do is to set up a perfect FB Page for your Product. Then you should start promoting the page to get in more members. Once you have some decent no. of active users you can then promote your product.

If you can create a page and get some high no. of members then you can convert those traffic to money with ease. Try it and let me know if you have any query.
