Why didn't my birthday show up on Facebook?

It's my birthday today and I didn't see it on my page and I barely got any posts about birthday wishes, maybe from a few close friends, while some of my other friends can a lot more posts. I set my birthday to it's exact day which is the 27th (today). Is there any reason why it wouldn't show everyone or is it just a glitch?

maybe your friends were just busy with other things, or didnt notice

it's not like they get a notification, they have to look at the link that says "this person and 4 others have a birthday today" - if you are one of the "4 others" then they may not notice unless they click on it to see who those 4 others are

at any rate, it really isnt that big of a deal, is it?

it's even less likely they will notice if you add people who have 234987 friends

change the setting from only me
