Where would you find an advertising banner for hardware DIY men? UK?

For part of my course I have to create an internet header, mines about 800px by 300px, I need to find somewhere to show where the advert would be found. Its aimed at construction workers and it needs to be a website that contains adverts on their page. A magazine website or hardware maybe?

If its aimed towards tradesmen then you need to advertise with companies like Travis Perkins, Bradfords, Jewsons, Screw fix and such.

I'm confused is that header a sales banner as well?

To be a bit more realistic, there are industry standard banner sizes tha should be used, here are 14 of the most universal in W, H : 728x90, 468x60, 450x50, 425x600, 336x280, 300x600, 300x250, 250x250, 234x60, 200x200, 180x150, 160x600, 120x600, 120x60

You could just do a web search for Tools, etc to find pages on the subject, most of the automated banner placement aids are part of a ad network subscription or paid services.
