No connections available - windows 7?
i recently swapped hard drives on a laptop. now the computer runs great but the internet is non existent! No connections are being found and YES the wireless button is ON but the laptop is saying the WLAN Adapter is disabled.

Try going to Control Panel, Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center.
Then Network and Sharing Center, on the left side tehre is a menu. Click change adapter settings and right click the wireless network connect and click disable. Then re-enable it and try connecting to the internet again.
