Ex disclosing private information on Facebook/ Twitter?

Okay so lets just say I tell my ex (boyfriend at the time) something extremely private that only very few people I know knew.. for example: I have a disease or something along those lines

If me and my boyfriend break up then puts on Facebook that i have this 'disease' can anything be done about it.

He would be disclosing private information about MY personal life via Facebook for the whole world to see?

There has to be something to be able to do?

Well I guess you are the UK citizen and national right. If the issue is really pretty big for you then the best thing I could suggest is that you better talk to Uk Cyber Crime Department because at this critical situation I have seen from my personal experience that the personal or individual actions are not of much help.
