Please Help :IS 3MBPS Internet connection enough for work from home through VPN connection?

Is 3MBPS internet connection from Quest broadband Fast enough to check mails easily, download files and for VPN etc.??
Is anybody using Quest broadband 3MBPS??

Yes, it should be enough. I'm working from a 1Mbps connection from home and it's fine for checking mail and surfing.

Just be aware that at some point along your internet connection, you will be sharing your bandwidth with others and your connection speed may vary at different times of the day.
Eg. In the evenings and on weekends, my connection is rather slow as more people are at home using their computers.
