FB and twitter are tools. Nothing more. Nothing less. How you use tools corresponds with if it is good or bad. Just like a knife. Knives are used to prepared food and used to carve fantastic pieces of art. Knives can also be used to stab people in the back.

i think it is. my boyfriend and i used to fight a lot because i had guys walling me (even if they we were just having a friendly chat). i dont really understand why he gets mad at me for that when his wall is full of girls walling him with a heart sign. when i confront to him about it he's just gonna be like, "they're just my friends! blablablaaa" and yeah, we always argued about it until we both decided to deactivate it. now we're doing great and we're not arguing about those kind of stupid stuffs anymore :/ kinda hard for me at first. haha. but i still have my twitter account Smile

There is nothing inherently wrong with social networks. The problem is the PERSON.

The main point of social networks is as a way to communicate with people you don't see that often, they don't have any impact on a relationship unless one of you is using them to hook up with other people. You're missing out on a lot of your friends' activities by refusing to be on them and in my experience the people who cancel their fb account after getting a partner are the ones who stop seeing their friends.

My bf and I both have fb accounts and he has twitter, we mostly use them to set up nights out with mates or send each other soppy messages. Social networking in itself isn't bad for your relationship, it can only be bad when one of you uses networks to abuse your relationship and that's that individuals fault, not the websites'.
