What is the correct approach for trying to rank for similar phrases (SEO)?

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering what the correct approach is for trying to rank for similar phrases.

Let's say for example you want to rank for:

"Personal Injury Attorney in New York City"
"Personal Injury Attorney New York City"
"Personal Injury Lawyer in New York City"
"Personal Injury Lawyer New York City"

- Would you create 4 separate webpages for this? Will Google index them all?

- Or would you have 1 Personal Injury webpage and then do some white/gray hat link building with the four phrases appearing as anchor text?

- Or would you have 2 webpages (one for lawyer and one for attorney just in case) and then do some white-hat/gray-hat link building with the phrases appearing as anchor text going to the appropriate webpage?

Keep it natural. Depending on the content, you can place a combination of these or just a page for each. The latest SEO updates will focus more on user experience and response. Don't go crazy on keywords.

You can have only one page for Personal Injury or Each Practice Areas, normally people says you should target max 3-4 key phrases per page.
