Facebook "Boost Post" option?Why does it only show on some of the non-commercial pages we run on FB?

Never saw this "Boost Post" thing until a few days ago. Cheaper than an ad. The option of creating and buying ad space has been there for years. This Bosst Post thing seems new. We've never done either to date.

Pages range from an unofficial movie page, to our own small online business FB page, to the FB page of a free website we have, etc etc etc. Can't seem to "Boost Post" for our business page? But can for the unofficial movie page? Thanks

Boost post option is available on some non-commercial pages only to promote our post. It is paid boosting and depends on the type of post and location. A boost post has a higher number of likes than normal post.
