dating advice?????????? really need help?

So there is this girl I have talked to maybe once on DM on twitter. I really like her for a lot of reasons In fact I saw her a couple days ago in the hallway and got butterflies for the first time. Since I don't have a lot of experience this, I've been asking around and the general advice is to say "hi" but I can't seem to manage that. The problem is that I have a social disorder to where I really can't talk to people unless I have known that person for a while. So when I see her in the halls (I don't see her that often) I try to squeeze out a hi and I just can't get it to come out and we kind of just awkwardly glance at each other. I was wondering how I should go about this so we can start talking

Do you know anyone who knows her? Perhaps you could get someone to introduce you, but if not you're just going to have to push past that fear and say Hi to her. Awkward glances are going to keep getting more and more awkward until she gets really put off, so try not to do that for too much longer. It's not easy, but it will be worth it and once you're over that fear, you can get to know her. Just tell yourself you can do it and eventually you'll believe you can do it and I'm sure she's very sweet and there's nothing to be afraid of.
