when I am in Yahoo Answers I get pop ups every time I click on a question and would like to know how I can stop them from appearing. Also happens on other web site.

since these pop ups appear on other sites as well, make sure you havent got an adware software installed. use malwarebytes or adwcleaner and scan to detect potential adware. (theyre easy to spot and can be removed by my previously mentioned programs )

Yup what Jason said Use Google Chrome and get the add on called Adblock. It blocks pop ups and banners like a champ.

It has nothing to do with blocking ads as others have suggested. Tom is correct, you have Adware on your system. Clean it.
