Does my Android have a virus?
I was going to use the site MP3 Skull with my phone and the Google Chrome app when a pop-up immediately came up. Oddly enough it said something like "message from yahoo ad" and then proceeded to tell me my Android has a virus, and if I click 'OK' it will clean it for me.
I panicked and clicked 'cancel'. Never has this happened to me using MP3 Skull on my laptop nor has this happened to me before on any other sites with my phone. As far as I know, my phone is in healthy shape (Samsung Galaxy S4, relatively new) and I never use bad sites or download anything. I am worried for my phone now and hope I don't have a secret virus. Are there any ways to check? What would you suggest? Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and respond! Ads |

Mostly the are pop ups to take you to download their apps, but sometimes, downloading them may lead to viruses, but unless you downloaded anything , you should be fine. But still, once in a while do a virus scan, just to be sure.
