hello im a 18 year old male who suffers from aspbergers . im considered a high fuctioning of my illness. anyway i have had gfs before i know how to make out im no virgin. but the three gfs i have had was because they asked me out because they were attracted to me. i have never formed a inmiacy relationship before. my friend suggest using facebook and talking to girls i have mutual friends with since it would be easier for me. what would the best first message be? or should i go to a store and look for cute chicks to try to pick up? my reason for wanting to start dating is i want eventually a long term relationship and marriage in order to do that you need to go on dates to see which girls i like and which ones would like me. any suggestions thanks

I would stay away from Facebook and on-line sites to meet someone. You'll do better in real life. Let people know you're interested in meeting new friends. Tell your neighbors, relatives, friends because everyone knows someone that might be right for you.

If you've had 3 girls ask you out you must be a great person.

I think friendship and casual acquaintance is always better that jumping right into asking someone out. Start making conversations with girls at the library, bookstore, park etc. Join a hiking club or try some activity that would involve meeting new people. Your soul mate may not be there but her brother or sister might be. Church is good too. Lots of nice girls there.

Try not to mention you have Asbergers unless someone asks. And I hope you're not "suffering" either. It may take longer to learn social skills but eventually you'll meet a girl who gets you.
