Why can anyone join Facebook now?

I orginally joinded facebook because it was only for college students and you had to have your school lised to join. Now anyone can be on facebook no matter what and I dont; like it. DOes anyone know why Facebook changed? and do you like it how it is now?

I like my privacy too much so I have just avoided facebook altogether.

Well lets see...not everyone goes to college, (ya know, maybe because they can't afford it), and is that any real reason to keep someone off of a website that helps you keep in touch with old friends and make new ones?

I never been to facebook ,,,I know nothing about it...I thought it was a place to put your photos,,,dahhhhh I will have to check it out ,,,,

I agree. It was kind of special that only people from school could join, but it is probably going to get out of hand w/fake profiles like MySpace now that they have changed it.

It will have changed so they can have more money.
More people, more people click adverts?
It's not always great when a site changes because they need more money, but normally it means that the site will be improved for everyone.
I like the way facebook is now, I think it's a lot more fun than it used to be =]
