Asking her out on Facebook?

My situation is kind of complicated:
We used to be in the same class in middle School, and we used to Catch eachother's eyes and talk now and then. We would always greet eachother in the morning. She used to have a boyfriend (I don't think it was very serious).

When high School time came along, we ended up on two different Schools and I've missed her ever since. We still live in the same city, but I have no chance of ever seeing her outside, because I don't know where she lives.

The other day, I said to myself 'do I wanna be lonely in life?' and added her on Facebook. This might seem stupid, but here's a really awkward thing:

At the last day of middle School, Our class went to the park in the city to eat ice cream. Me and a friend (now ex-friend) came long before the other People because we used Our bikes, and sat Down on a bench by the park.

When she (my crush) walked by us, my friend said 'Hey! I bet he wants to f**k you!'
And I panicked and had no idea what to say. I have a slight suspection as to why he said it; he might've been in love With her as well, and didn't want me to have a chance With her.

So, when I added her on Facebook the other day, she accepted like 50 Seconds later.
It was late so I didn't start a conversation, and now I want to ask her out, but With no Clue on what to say. It's just been so awkward ever since my friend said that in the park.
