Can the computer hard drive affect internet connection?
My wireless internet connection was pretty stable until a month ago, it started to turn bad. My internet speed jumps from 144 mbps to 5.5 mbps, then sometimes jumps to 78 mbps. So I tried to use my school wireless and the connection speeds also jumps up and down. So I talked to my friends and they said it could be laptop's hard drive. However my hard drive has plenty of space and I run CCleaner regularly. Does anyone know what is happening to my internet connection? By the way I'm using Telus. Thank you for your help and time!

No relation between Internet speed and Hard drive even you said that you have enough space on disk so check your wifi or other issue.

No, closest thing connecting internet connection and the hard-drive is the OS. Try using TCP/IP Optimizer, if you're on Windows.
