How do I get rid of Conduit search from Google Chrome?
I am beyond p*ssed off. Another retarded decided to make a useless company and infect computers with his garbage. (the retard should be shot) Anyway, I already tried changing my homepage back to google.com, but that didn't work. HERE'S THE OTHER THING: So many instructions tell you to go to your extensions menu and delete it from there. HOWEVER, I guess there has been an update to their P.O.S. product, and now it hides itself in the extensions menu! There is nothing I can click to delete it. Any suggestions BESIDES switching to Safari or Firefox?

OMG I had that problem too!!! I HATE Conduit... So first try looking in control panel and uninstall programs. I think sometimes its listed there. Also, you could just reinstall chrome. It won't take to long to do that.

Hi, you can try this way. 1) click Start> Control Panel> Programs and Features> search for Conduit search and uninstall it 2) clear the browser history 3) search for related files on C drive and remove all of them.
Or you can try to do system restore, but you will lose some system data. |

Conduit is a nasty adware program and it's difficult to clean out manually because it creates registry entries and re-creates itself like a virus.
Download Malwarebytes and run a scan- it takes care of conduit. You will have to reset your homepage in chrome to whatever it was before manually. |
