Need help with my auction item on ebay, international shipping?
I listed an item on eBay and specified that it shipped only to the United States. I had a buyer contact me asking if it were possible for it to be shipped to Canada.

Is it possible for me to revise it so it ships to all of North America? Will she be able to buy it anyway, but have to pay extra shipping or something?

The item has six current bids.

THANK YOU!

On eBay, go to your listing page for your item. At the top of the page, (left hand side) you'll see a link that says, "Revise Your Item. Click on that link.

The eBay listing assistant will open. Scroll down to the shipping options area. There, if it's available select, "Global Shipping". This is a new program eBay has that allows you to sell your products worldwide - but you'll only need to ship it to Erlanger, Kentucky. Erlanger, KY. is eBay's shipping center. Once your item arrives, eBay will rebox it and ship it for you to your buyer.

They take care of all the shipping. But, make sure your item is allowed to be shipped by eBay. They won't ship certain things.

If your item is not allowed in eBay's Global Shipping Program, you still may be able to change your shipping preferences to include Canada in the same area of your eBay listing designer.

Keep in mind, (if you're NOT using eBay's Global Shipping Program) you'll need to make sure to take into account the additional cost for shipping to Canada and (in your listing) request your customer contact you for additional shipping charges after purchasing. So, you'll need to edit the wording in your listing as well for your item.

If you have multiple items that are all the same thing on your listing and have sold one already, it may be advisable to end your listing and begin with a new listing.
