How do people get 20+ likes on their Facebook profile picture so easily?

As I look at my friends profile pictures on Facebook I notice that most of them have at least 20 likes or more and that seems the norm. I myself have barely 13 likes, 15 was the max I got on any profile picture. but anyways how do people get so many likes easily? I have 400 friends and they have about the same.

that is because they are either pretty, or they are more popular than you are, having many friends in Facebook is pointless if you do not know them.

do you get a prize or something if you get more than 20 plus likes from complete strangers? why do you care if people you never met before like your picture? does it save you money on your car insurance?

people that get lots of likes on their pictures may interact with lots of people and post comments alot so they have a greater online presence so when they post a picture that they took specifically for the facebook community they get likes.
