Why do some gay like to get so much attention?
Why do we always need to show everybody we are gay gay gay all the time?
It drive me crazy when i see guys wearing a tshirt saying "gay and proud" or gay who post pics on fb/instagram with a bunch of gay hashtags.

We aren't a race and i understand Gay must have same rights like straight people, but why cant WE be humble about it? It's like some gay are using their sexuality to get some attention.

Being proud of who you are isn't about getting attention or showing everyone anything, it's about being proud of who you are and that isn't a bad thing.

Most gay people are like women, and like women they feel like they need tons of attention and will do a lot to get it, and since there is some discrimination towards gays then of course they would love to protest their sexuality and freedom

Because everyone assumes you're straight.

By wearing a gay t shirt or saying "I'm gay gay gay" you let other lgbt people know. When they know, you get more lgbt friends who are understanding and you also find dates WAAAAY easier.

It actually comes from insecurity. These people haven't really convinced themselves yet.
If you are comfortable in your own skin, and what you are, then it doesn't matter what others think. You might not feel the need to convince anyone of who you are, you know who you are.
Just pity them and hope they find some peace.
When you see that, just give them reassurance and say something like, "We know what you are, and it's okay".. .

It's because we get tons of hate, hate, hate all the time. Read about "microaggression": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microaggression
The way to deal with microaggression is to refute it by being proud of ourselves instead of being ashamed the way the haters want us.
