Starting an online store with NO money?
So...

I want to start an online store. I am a university student with no money, and I need to make money. I don't have enough money even though I work to start an online store. No warehouse to ship from and not enough money to buy from suppliers.

I know it sounds crazy but the point of a business is to make money not lose money.
And although an initial investment is key, that will never be attainable at this point in my life as I am too broke.

One thing is for sure though. I know A LOT about the fashion industry. I am not one of those girls that just says that because she likes clothes. I have followers on twitter from high end and reputable companies/designers.

I really think I know enough to be able to market and sell products and I've worked in high end retail before (though I hate it... not because of the industry but because of the physical aspect of the job)

In any case, I have heard that it is possible to have an online store if you utilize a type of business strategy called a 'network structure" where you are the main person who operates the site and markets the items, and when someone buys something you then contact the vendor from which the item is located and ask them to ship it to the customer. Therefore, you are communicating with customers and suppliers to make a sale, not actually shipping the items back yourself.
I figure if I can do this and make enough money then I could eventually have my own warehouse and hire people. For now though, this is the only idea I can think of. Anyone know what I am talking about? Any advise or guidance would be helpful. Any knowledge will also be helpful.

You should sell clothing and/or fashion accessories using a drop shipper. A drop shipper is a supplier that agrees to sell you their product at a certain price but they will ship the product directly to your customers. You can mark up the price as much as you want and you don't have to buy the item until you have already sold it to the customer. Since it is shipped directly to the customer you never have to pay for the products with your own money and you do not need a ware house.

Stay away from main stream drop shippers like doba.com. There products are too expensive and they will leave you no room to make a profit. Talk to some smaller businesses and see if they would be willing to drop ship for you.
