The only way to make your internet faster is to get a faster connection. Your connection speed can only be as fast as your ISP allows. Aside from updating your drivers, no software can increase your speed. If a connection is slow due to internet congestion or a slow connection on one end, no software will be able to fix that. Download managers can increase download speeds by opening several connection at once, and fining the fastest servers for you - I suggest iGetter if you want to use one. These will not make web pages load faster or increase your speed beyond your max, but downloads can SOMETIMES be made faster using a DM. It depends on how the site is set up.
