How do I do Link Building for SEO after the Penguin 2.1 update?
It seems that after penguin 2.1 update, spammy links like web 2.0, blog comment, doesn't work anymore. What type of link building strategy should I use for a brand new website?

Well - everything dependent from your niche.
For example if i'm medical equipment manufacturer i will get backlinks from hospitals, trade shows, doctors, insurance companies, etc. If i'm manufacturer of nuts and bolts i can get backlinks from partners, trade shows, some traders and online shops, local newspapers, etc. Believe me - no matter of niche there are lot of possibility. The real problem is that you need some kind of long plan for this - over year and some roadmap. I attach an article (not mine) about backlink strategy an how to build one. If you investigate it will see that best results are time consuming and long. That's main goal for Google! If you can get link for one commend and 2-3 mins of work this is useless link and you now know it. If you get link from trusted source with 2-3 weeks (or months!) of work - this is valuable link. |
