Internet connection for I-Pods?
Is internet connection needed to copy cds onto the i-pod. Can multiple pcs be used to copy music onto the i-pod. Once internet connection is available, is it only the original pc to be used for downloading?

no you dont need internet connection to add cds to your ipod...but you will need the internet to download the itunes program so you are able to put music on your ipod.

yes multiple pcs can be used to put music on your ipod but they must have itunes as well. example your friend has 1000 songs you dont have and you want them too, just plug your ipod in his pc and you r ipod will pop up on his itunes and you just highlight the songs you want and drop them on your ipod icon.

once you ahve ituens you can set up an account....so to answer your last question, once you have an account..you can have up to 4 more computers linked to your account that you can download onto to, this is done by signing onto itunes from the alternate computers and authorizing these computers.

the iPod is a very versitile thing you can have as many computers as you want but they all have to have iTunes and the first time you plug in you iPod to iTunes on the iPod menu and click manually manage music then go to the iPods music library and if all songs are black you are readyto go
