i like this girl but i dont know what to do?

Well i like this girl but i feel like its hard to talk to her. She's Shy and is usually really quiet. shes always with 2 of her friends which i know. but her i seem like its hard to talk to her because shes quiet. Well im in my senior year and i was trying to see if i could even go to prom with her. But that seems like a fantasy anyways i cant dance for jack and never been to prom b4 so idk how it is lol. Anyways its hard to talk to her and i really want to get to know her but it just seems too difficult. any suggestions. She dosnt have social media such as facebook or anything that i know of so the only way i can contact her is probably by texting but she might think im weird if i ever just asked her for her number when i started talking to her for a little.
