How to get rid of External Account Settings message pop up?
I continually get the following message:

We're sorry, but it looks like there might be something wrong with the settings of the external account . Please check your [account address] in Mail Options and try again.

Have tried deleting this external account from yahoo, but when I try I get an invalid request error message. And it's an obnoxious circle. Pop-up about the external account every time I open a mail message, try to delete the external account, get the error message.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking of just dropping my yahoo mail over this because I can't find any answers to this problem and it's so obnoxious to work around. Sad

I am having the same problem with ALL of my external accounts. Yahoo mail appears to have no support except the "contact customer care" section which is actually just a database of prewritten answers without the option to contact anyone! I think we all need to migrate to something better. If you have any suggestions let me know. Only tip I have if you are keen to stay with yahoo is you can DM some kind of yahoo customer care people on twitter and enjoy a completely public conversation about your mail account.

Mind you, these are the people who will probably direct you to the TOTALLY MIS-NAMED "contact customer care" section just to get rid of the problem...
