how many of you have unknown "friends" on fb?

i understand facebook, is a social network. But lately its been a dating scene. where guys without guts can pick up girls, and stupid girls fall "in love" with these retarded guys. Why do ppl add people they don't know? Do you win a fb prize once you reach 1000 friends? Is their some weirdo contest i wasn't informed of? let me know please.?=)

I myself do not do Facebook because the police and the government tells you Not to put personal info on these sites. But FB requires it and also you legally have to use your real name. I hate those sites because their are still people stealing identities and they will have a field day on FB.
I know I am in the minoritity. I do not care.
