what does it means by internet connection sharing?
allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection? what does that means? does it mean they can log on your internet without the password? or it doesnt mean anythang like that?

You should never allow anyone else to use your internet connection, ever!!! Take it from my experience and just use the one for yourself. NO SHARING!!!

yes your on the right tracks - if you have an internet connection running to your computer you can then share it to another computer - by using the internet connection sharing, but doing this you are creating your own network connection that has its own passwords etc, tobe able to share the connection your computer will need to have 2 network cards one for the incoming connection and one to share it, - the outgoing

sound like you trying to configure a router, sharing the one connection, which it must do either Ethernet cable or wireless. But if your wireless,others ,not in your household can also share if you don't encrypt and password protect your network. WPA2 is the latest standard with 128 bit encryption, WEP has 64 bit encryption but can be broken in 5 minutes if you know what your doing.
