What kind of computers can share internet service?
If I want to get 2 computers and have them share internet service through a router, what kind of computers will work? E.g., do they both need to be a type that can only connect with a router, or have built in wireless network connection, etc.? Please be as thorough as possible because I'm new to the whole sharing internet service thing and confused. Thanks.

Think of internet as the mail system. The router is the mail man. Each device is a property. All the post from the internet comes to the mail man, who then delivers it to the right address. It doesn't matter that the properties could be a house, an apartment block or a shop.

Anything that can connect to the router (either wired or wireless, it doesn't matter which), can connect to the internet. They don't have to be the same kind of device, so a PC, Mac, phone, smart TV or game console can all use the same connection.
