What does the abbreviation "RT" mean?
My teacher wrote it as a comment on my reading journal entry and I was a little embarrassed to ask her what it meant. I know it's used on twitter but I don't think she meant the same thing. (And I still don't know what it means when used on twitter.)
it means "retweet" on twitter, but it doesn't make sense that my teacher would write it next to my journal entry. Ads |

My guess would be, "re-read text."
That would mean that your comment didn't seem true to what was going on in the story. For example, if you said that Hamlet wanted to kill his father, the teacher would put, "re-read text" because you weren't understanding the story. |
