Window 8 wifi connection?

Hello, I just bought a new computer, I installed all of the programs, when I try to go to the internet access it says Unavailable/ No connections are available. It is only trying to connect to a ethernet, how can I fix it, The computer is a cyberpower

First it is need to know that are you set you wifi reader.
If you do not set it . so first set is with your pc.

Sounds like you need your wireless drivers. If you can connect to the Web via ether net cable just download them from the manufacturers site. Also make sure your keyboard doesn't have a wifi on/off switch. If you see a wifi symbol on one of the keys hold the function (FN) key and tap the wireless keyboard key once.
