my parents won't let me get a facebook. I've tried convincing that I was mature. What else should I do?

I'm 17. I tried the same thing when I was 13.
I guess all have to except it. Just my parents are just controlling as far as friends go and other stuff. I just feel like I don't have a life. I guess in few years that might be different.
10 or 11 is young but my parents have to remember I might be going to college in a year this would a step towards independence. I asked my Mom recently she could see my page whenever she wants. She in was kind of bad mood. I will ask again sometime probably.
I'm sure telling that will go over well Matt.
I know I should care more about more important things. Seems like I hear a lot about social media in my school. Seriously every day. Didn't know that not even 18-19 year olds wow. That's really serious. No wonder people were gravitating towards other social media. I swear a lot of people still had facebook. I guess it was bothering more than it should last night

That really sucks. I have neighbor kids that have a Face Book and they are only 10, 11 years old.
Can you not just make a Face Book on your own.

doesnt matter how old you are .actually now facebook isnt allowing any teenagers ages from under 12-19 sign up for facebook members or have a accounts anymore. because what happens last time. that so many youngest students from high schools had made a alot of worst issues such as started making trouble when theyre online like there were students (kids) posting on their walls and other people timelines posting comments boxes starting making alot of bad langauges eachother like bullying and teaseing to others kids that shouldnt be showing on the posts. so when facebook found out about it. they had no choice to suspended the ones that are under ages and broken the Rules that shouldn't says, doing when their on facebook. so mostly they lost their second chance , changed some rules for the teenagers wont able sign up for fb account or wont able to post anything on their walls or neither others people timelines .i think that hows the parents found out about it on the news. so i think it better you shouldnt have one because you're still too young to be responiable to handle to take the risks. you should worried about going to school and enjoy your one more year of high school and you also should think about what you want to do after you graduated from your senior year and then if you are planning to go to college then you should start planning what you want to do for your goal. maybe get a part time job and earn some money instead worrying about having facebook .not everyone has one,so why you need one , because your friends has facebook not you . you shouldnt lied about your real age because now these days facebook team can figure out the people real lifes about who they really are when they do check out what date you were born and what year you born. etc.. they are too smart.. plus its not gotta help you have better life and get better grades in school if you had facebook. . school is more important then going online and meeting alot of bad people , strangers that never cant be 100% honest to you about who they really are behide from the other side of the computers . there are so many bad unfriendly people that will start making trouble either you never ever met or seen before, or know them who theyre are in person..you cant add people you really dont know to be your new friends ! just they cant be trusted with, there people alike that they likes to make trouble and blame others not themseleve.
