Why am I not getting my messages on FB mobile?

I've been turning on and off my FB mobile to try and fix this problem but it isn't working. I don't seem to be getting messages from my friends. I turned it off and tried turning it back on last night and it took over 15 hours to receive my confirmation code and not getting my messages is starting to piss me off.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? or is it just not working because of the new FB update..?

1. you r not logged in
2. your mobile internet is not switched on
3. you can remove and install fb again
4. your phone doesn't allow data synch, happens when coming back from abroad coz you turned it off
