How to check whether my website backlinks are spammy or not?
I would like to know about the way to check the back links of the website. My website has more than 5000 back links and I am looking for some tool to check which links to keep and which to remove.

Backlink reporting tools like opensiteexplorer.org give the linking sites a ranking, consistently getting links from low quality sites can be a problem, there is one expensive service that goes into greater backlink source examination.
There is not an absolute rule for determining spammy links, they would appraise your backlink profile as a whole, consistently getting links from low ranking pages would raise a red flog. Sidebar/blogroll and footer links are considered junky, since they are so often paid for. A large link count to linking domain ratio is symptomatic of buying site-wide links, a giveaway of unnatural link patterns. Some advise those links coming from pages that have no incoming links or have never sent you a visitor should be removed. Ads |

Check your all backlinks with back-links tools like Ahref, GWM tool or with webmeup, list all your links and check these domains which do not have good PA, DA and PR.
If you find any links from adults websites, or if you find a link from Directories which build with PHPLD, pligg. Try to send a request mail to the website owners or use disallow if you find some bad links. There is no particular method for this process , i did this for my website to remove all unwanted backlinks. |
