why doesnt google come up normaly?

i used spybot search and destroy to get rid of a virus and now the google homepage alwas comes up as "404 not found" how do i get it to come up normally?
I GOT RID OF THE VIRUS AND THE PAGE ISNT BLOCKED (i deleted some virus that i needed to view the google homepage)

I used to be a fan of Spybot until it kept missing viruses on my friends computer over and over again. Use http://malwarebytes.org instead. It will find it because it scans registry entries, spybot does not.

Do the quick scan in malwarebytes, not the full scan because its a waste of time and it will still find everything. Full scan searches stuff like text files, music, picture files which is not necessary.

Alot of virus programmers write in there code to prevent malwarebytes from launching (because they are that scared of it). If this happens to you, then goto the Program Files folder, then look at the Malwarebytes folders. Rename mbam.exe to iexplore.exe . This will trick the virus into think you're launching a webpage and wont block it. Dont worry, it wont affect your real internet explorer from running.
