Find your browser option or settings then you should figure out right there. Good luck.

I use firefox and just now changed it so that it opens my home page when I open a new tab!
I used firefox help and the process is very simple and starts with you having to type in the url box:

about:config
search for browser.newtab.url change its value to a link that you want or about:home(default home page)

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL DOING THIS AS YOU COULD SCREW EVERYTHING UP!!!

edit:
ChargePositive beat me to it, I was going to add that IE11 you can make this change using tools - internet options - tabs - just had to do it as something had taken over my home page.
Be very wary of websearch.com ...

Please tell me what browser you are using. I'm going to go on a hunch and say IE(Internet Explorer) but I may be wrong. In IE (Hopefully 9 or above) click the gear icon in the top right. Find the "internet options button" In the dialoge box find the "Tabs" button. Next, find the drop down menu under the text that says "When a new tab is opened, open:" Select what best suits you.
Hope this helps! Smile
