I feel like posting a photo like that is just an attention seeking thing. If you truly wanted to honor someone's memory you would post pictures of the person, not the headstone.

My father died 9 years ago, and my cousin did this today, and everyone thinks i'm rude because I asked them to remove it. He has two daughters, that still feel grief. And I feel like my pain and his death isn't so you can
get facebook likes.
Just to add- She was close to him as well. But cousins who I know never met him are sharing it. And I understand the emotional support thing. But theres a difference between posting pictures with the person in it or saying I miss so and so, than posting a picture of his headstone. Thats the issue I have. Its for attention as far as im concerned because she did it that way.

No, I don't think it is rude of you to ask them to take the photo down, but you also need to see it from your cousin's perspective. Maybe they are grieving as well, and feel as though they have to go outside of their family for emotional support, because you are not offering it to them.
