Should I send her a message on fb?

I told a girl I liked her (I think she likes me too) and wanted to get to know her, and she said yes. I was so happy that day! But we haven't talked since. Why? Because whenver i see her, she is always talking with friends, who I am alien to. She says we can talk in one of her classes, but she never says hi or anything, just looks at me a lot and talks with her friends. I am considering sending her a message on FB telling her the situation I am in, and asking her if we could set up a time just for the two of us. Is this a wise thing to do?
