Teamviewer won't allow my computer to play system sounds?
My monitor died and I need to use my iPad as a monitor for now until I can get a new one.But I'm using Teamviewer and I have speakers plugged into my computer and Teamviewer won't let my computer play the system sounds when it is connected to my computer. But when I watch a video or play a game or listen to music on iTunes it allows that. How can make it play system sounds?
When I disconnect Teamviewer on my computer then it will log me off of my computer for some reason and play the log off sound. Before my monitor died I was using Teamviewer at a family member's house and it did not allow sounds. But when I get home then I go on my computer and the sounds are working.

As far as i recall Teamviewer can not control hardware = sound.

So if i used my phone to control my PC.. I would not hear any sound..
Unless i was standing in front of my PC while controlling it from my phone.

Maybe Itunes is using it's own sound Driver?

Teamviewer was designed as a remote assist app to help others.
It was not designed to remote control another as if you was using it.

It can be a slow connection also as it relies on the internet.

There are plenty of remote assist apps that may be better for you..
If your connecting the devices on the same network/Internet connection.

Teamviewer has never logged me off after disconnecting.
(Check teamviewers Advanced settings)

Hope it helps Smile
