what is the use direct message in the twitter,how can i use it.?

In Twitter. a direct message is a kind of private message that you can send to other twitter user, probably your followers or the people whom you follow. To use it, simply log into your twitter account, click on direct messages, select the user that you want to message from the drop down, type in your message and click send!
