DOES HE LOVE ME OR HATE ME?

Okay so this is really long.

There was this guy and I REALLY liked him and he liked me too, we both spoke for months, we went on webcam and he really used to flirt. We both got really close but we never met up. After a while I noticed he wasnt talking to me the same way. I think he got bored of me, he said to me that he 'wants someone', so i was confused like what we had was nothing? Like it was all a joke? He wanted me to help him find someone and yes it hurt so much. We exchanged facebook passwords and he added my bestfriend. They spoke and went out for a week :\ Then when they broke up he came back to me and started flirting again. We used to talk like we were a couple but we didnt put a label on it. So after a while he started disappearing and i focused on my exams. There was a time were i was really depressed cos i kept thinking about him... After months he started talking to me again, but i ended the conversation and never spoke to him after that but we were going to finally see each other in college. I was so scared of starting college because of this.

We started college and he ended up in one of my classes... He would sit near me or try and talk to me but it was really awkward. I never told any of my friends about 'us' until college started, i tried avoiding him and i never really spoke to him. Recently i noticed that he's gone really close with a girl in my class and i assumed that theyre in a relationship, so i asked my friend and she said no...

A few weeks ago i noticed that on twitter he blocked me and deleted me off facebook. I was really confused because i couldnt think of any reason why he would do that as its been 6 months in college. I thought it could be the reason that i thought he was in a relationship and my friend did mention it to the girl and she probably went and told him but why would he block me?

Also as he used to know my facebook passwords i used to change them on a regular basis, and my twitter password was one of them, and on twitter i DM'd my friend and told her about 'us' so im not sure if he logged in and read it? But i didnt say anything which wasnt true that he would block me?

Many of my friends think that he wants attention to see if i start talking to him again, because its pointless blocking me on the internet when he is going to see me in college? I mean we never even spoke on the internet let alone real life, so why block me all of a sudden?

And i dont want to ask him because if he wants to see if i care then that means its working :|
so i dont know if he still has feelings for me or hates me?
