He will struggle.

We know Gary has the talent, and the bike should be upto it, but its that engine.

Its the old Foggy Petronas deal all over again.

I hope I'm wrong on this matter, but I feel BMW had good reason when they scrapped the plan. Can be FB pull it out of the hat? I hope so.

[ hi Proc.. i'm assuming that he as an empty track for the test, and Gary probably has more race experience on a three cylinder machine than anyone. i think he can do it, probably low 1.34s..i can't see them messing this one up.. the season however is a different matter....<^><....

If the FB bike is competitive enough, I don´t think It will show in the next test. This bike is still in the early development stage, not too much track time yet. They have to focus on balance, reliability, rideability, traction, and braking first and after wards on overall performance.

I think BMW folded because commercial and economical reasons and not because of the engine potential,, however to match what Yamaha, Honda or Ducati have done with 4 years of continuous improvement will be real hard.

My guess is in this test they will be 3 - 5 seconds off the pace.
